Equipment, Experience and Procedures

Image scanning like all other conversion and transfer services is a product of the equipment used, experience of the operator and the business and the procedures in place.

We use the Nikon Coolscan 5000 and 9000 for slides and negatives and the Epson V700 for photo scanning. We’ve configured our Software with custom built PCs specifically for use with the equipment we use

The need for good procedures can’t be overstated, it really is critical. One key to quality image scanning is consistency and this can only be achieved by following a clear, predefined checklist.

We’ve been in this industry for over a decade and know that we’ve developed a process which delivers the best, time and time again.

There’s no substitute for experience, not only with the person who handles your scan, but the business responsible for the job. DiskBank are a national company, committed to excellence in all that we do. We employ only the best technicians and know that we deliver the best results.
